Description
Anheuser-Busch built yet another addition to their facilities back in 1991. This was the first time that they built over Pestalozzi Street. I went to visit (people could tour the brewery) and noticed all the different logos of the A and the Eagle. I saw the 1898 logo on the curved building, and a more modern logo on the left. There is a different one on the brew house. If you look closely you can spy elephants on the top of columns. At the time they were also closing up the brew house lower windows. Right away I got the idea to document this history! I took many photos from every vantage point. Then I had the arduous task of readjusting the vanishing points to one single point for the painting. I added the horse and hitch coming out, and thought be neat to have trolley car coming out and people going on a tour crossing 9th street. So title is the street names. 1994
